This is a request for

She requested for Disney's beloved mermaid princess; Ariel.
Also a little gift for myself since today's my birthday :D

So, this is my interpretation of Ariel; more of an anime version of her actually, although maybe I exaggerated her hair alittle^^;
It was really a challenge for me to see how I could draw the anime version of Ariel and the ocean scenery to make the work piece more interesting to look at.
The idea was to make it really detailed and colorful.
I used new colored pencils for this.

Now that I realized, I think her hair would look nicer with some sea shells. It's too late~!! T___T

This is gorgeous, really. Especially the background... The details and accuracy are wonderful, and it has such great depth to it.

And one can never go overboard with hair. :D The more the merrier!

that looks so cool ^^ i luv how u colored this pic n ariel looks so cute ^^ but doens't her tail look a bit short or is it just me? ^^; but i still like it ^^
