I was really unsure of what to draw for 'Fire', but I decided to go with an oriental theme.
Hopefully you'll like the two phoenix; I never had any reference for them because I wanted to create my own version. The Chinese version of the phoenix(as I've seen before on temple walls and pillars) is quite colorful, so I took advantage of that to add more colors to the piece
Her hair was initially brown, but I made a mistake and added orange; partly because I tried to keep the colors mainly orangey red ;___; Some of you might not like this color scheme but I think overall, this piece is definitely a contrast to 'Water' XDDD
Enjoy and thank you to whose who commented on this piece A hug to those who fave this

This elemental series is inspired by Art Noveau.
As usual done with Faber-Castell colored pencils.

Absolutely gorgeous!! Beyond words can ever describe! The phoenixes look great! The colors are very bright and vivid, just as fire element should be! And all the tiny little details in the picture adds a wonderful effect!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
